Art Ambassadors

To prepare our pupils for future life we encourage pupils to take on roles of responsibility within the school, one of them being the role of an Art Ambassador. This coveted position is open for pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 with a total of 6 pupils from each school within The Dunham Trust with the aim to work collaboratively to improve all Art forms.

Our Art Ambassadors show commitment to their role and give up their own time to carry out their duties. The Ambassadors are paid for their hard work with opportunities across the schools within The Dunham Trust including additional visits to art centres and exhibitions.

The role of the Art Ambassador is to help with the smooth running of Arts across the school. They meet regularly to have their voice heard with an emphasis on how to develop the Arts and promote each Art form.

Elmridge Art Ambassadors

Hi! We are the Art Ambassadors for Elmridge. We work collaboratively with the other Arts Ambassadors from each school within The Dunham Trust to promote and enhance teaching and learning across all art forms.

Elmridge Art Ambassadors

The Art Ambassadors balance their commitment to the role alongside their education and other duties within school. They have exciting opportunities to visit the other schools within the trust, assist in organising arts festivals and represent pupil voice. They meet regularly to develop ideas for keeping our arts curriculum vivid and varied.

This year their duties include:

• Administering the Dunham Trust Arts Logo competition within Elmridge and shortlisting finalists, participating in school assemblies relating to this and representing Elmridge at Acre Hall to meet the other Arts Ambassadors and choose an overall winner.

• Creating a pupil questionnaire to canvas pupil opinion on the arts within Elmridge, administering this questionnaire, collating the results and analysing feedback.

• Assisting in the organisation of the Dunham Trust Arts festival in Summer.
